In his statement, Gandhi highlighted the need for comprehensive economic reforms, especially given the challenges posed by global instability and the ongoing financial crisis. He criticized the government’s approach to budget allocations and tax policies, claiming they lacked depth and would not provide lasting solutions to the country’s economic troubles. He described the budget as merely offering superficial improvements, adding that it would not be sufficient to stabilize India’s economic situation. Gandhi called the budget a “nominal budget” and expressed his dissatisfaction with the government’s lack of substantial reforms.
