New Delhi: Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has levelled serious allegations against the Election Commission (EC), accusing it of collaborating with the BJP in widespread vote theft. His statements have triggered nationwide discussions on the transparency of the electoral process.
Rahul Gandhi renewed his demand for the Election Commission to publicly release the digital voter list, calling it a crucial step to safeguard free and fair elections. He described vote theft as an attack on the fundamental democratic right of voting and stressed the need for a clear, impartial voter list to ensure electoral integrity.
He urged citizens and political parties to support this demand by visiting the website votechori.in/ecdemand or by giving a missed call to 9650003420, emphasizing that transparency would allow independent audits by the public and political entities.
Vote Chori is an attack on the foundational idea of 'one man, one vote'.
A clean voter roll is imperative for free and fair elections.
Our demand from the EC is clear – be transparent and release digital voter rolls so that people and parties can audit them.

In a recent video, Gandhi accused the EC and BJP of orchestrating a massive fraud, citing evidence from the Mahadevapura constituency in Karnataka, where over 100,000 fake votes were reportedly detected. He warned that if similar fraud occurs in 70 to 100 constituencies, it would jeopardize the prospects of free elections in India.
He reaffirmed his commitment to fight vote theft and called on citizens to join him in protecting democracy. As part of the initiative, a certificate will be issued to registered voters affirming their stance against vote theft and their support for releasing the digital voter list.
