In a significant upset during the IPL Qualifier 1 match, Punjab Kings were bowled out for a mere 101 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). None of the Punjab batsmen could cross the 30-run mark, exposing their batting frailties on a crucial day.
RCB’s bowling attack was led by Suyash Sharma and Hazelwood, who took three wickets each, while Yash Dayal contributed with two key dismissals. The RCB bowlers consistently applied pressure, resulting in the Punjab lineup’s collapse.
Marcus Stoinis (26), Prabhsimran Singh (18), and Azmatullah Omarzai (18) were the only batsmen to reach double figures for Punjab. The rest of the batting order struggled, with Nehal Wadhera scoring 8, Priyansh Arya 7, Jos Inglis 4, Shreyas Iyer 2, Shashank Singh 3, Harpreet Brar 4, and Musheer Khan dismissed without scoring.

Punjab lost five wickets for just 50 runs and were all out by 14.1 overs, posting a well below-par total. This disappointing batting performance stands in stark contrast to their otherwise impressive season.
Given the low target, RCB is now heavily favored to secure a comfortable victory and advance to the IPL final.
