Hyderabad: Actor and political commentator Prakash Raj has once again criticised Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, this time over his recent remarks endorsing Hindi. Reacting to Pawan Kalyan’s statement that described Telugu as the “mother tongue” and Hindi as the “elder mother tongue,” Prakash Raj took to social media under the hashtag “Just Asking” to express his disapproval, questioning the intent behind such comments and calling them a form of political appeasement.
Prakash Raj also targeted Pawan Kalyan’s past statements, including allegations of adulteration in Tirupati laddu offerings and his announcement to set up a board for the protection of Sanatana Dharma. He questioned the actor-politician’s qualifications to speak on such matters, urging him to focus on his responsibilities as Deputy CM. Prakash Raj advised Pawan to initiate inquiries and address real issues rather than creating unnecessary panic. The comments have sparked a social media storm, with Pawan’s supporters pushing back against the criticism.
