Rajampet: Actor Posani Krishna Murali, who is currently in judicial remand, was recently arrested for making objectionable remarks against TDP chief Chandrababu and JSP president Pawan Kalyan. According to the remand report, significant revelations have come to light regarding his statements and alleged political affiliations.
As per the report, Posani admitted to making inappropriate comments on caste and social groups. He stated that he followed a prepared script and acknowledged making remarks against Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh’s family. He further alleged that YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was involved in planning these remarks and that he intentionally provoked Pawan Kalyan’s supporters.

Posani also disclosed that during his tenure as Chairman of the Film Development Corporation (FDC), he actively supported the YSRCP. He claimed that the press conference where he personally targeted Pawan Kalyan was conducted with Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s approval. Additionally, he alleged that all his statements were widely circulated on social media by Sajjala’s son, Bhargava Reddy.
Rayachoti police arrested Posani for making derogatory remarks against castes, film fans, and political parties, as well as for his comments on Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh’s family. He was presented before the court, which remanded him for 14 days. Posani is currently lodged in Rajampet Sub-Jail as a remand prisoner, with reports indicating that he has been assigned prisoner number 226.
