Former YSR Congress Party minister Jogi Ramesh has received another shock as he has been served notices once again. The police issued notices to him related to the attack case on Chandrababu’s residence. He has been ordered to appear at the Mangalagiri DSP office for questioning tomorrow. The notices specify that he should arrive between 10 AM and 4 PM.
It is noteworthy that Jogi Ramesh had previously appeared at the Mangalagiri DSP office as part of the investigation into this same case. He has faced questioning in this case twice so far. Previously, he did not attend the inquiry on the specified date in the notices and went a few days later. Now, there is a suspense regarding whether he will attend the inquiry tomorrow or not.
Recently, the Supreme Court granted significant relief to Devineeni Avinash and former minister Jogi Ramesh, who were accused in the TDP office case. They had filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking anticipatory bail, which was rejected. Consequently, they approached the Supreme Court. The bench conducting the hearing granted them interim protection, stating that no immediate actions should be taken against Ramesh and Avinash, while also emphasizing that they must fully cooperate with the police investigation. It ordered the police to take further action if they fail to attend the inquiry and instructed them to surrender their passports to the authorities.
