Several Vande Bharat Express trains are already operating between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and now, another rail service is set to begin from Telangana. A new semi-high-speed Vande Bharat train service will run between Secunderabad and Nagpur stations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate this train on May 15.
Currently, four Vande Bharat trains connect Telangana to various parts of the country, and the upcoming train will be the fifth. Covering a distance of 578 km, the new train will travel between Secunderabad and Nagpur in just seven hours and 15 minutes.
As per the schedule, the train will depart from Nagpur at 5:00 am and arrive in Secunderabad by 12:15 pm. It will then depart from Secunderabad at 1:00 pm and return to Nagpur by 8:20 pm, according to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. In a post on X, Reddy mentioned that the train will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Ballarshah, Chandrapur, and Sevagram stations.
