New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the G7 Summit scheduled to be held from June 15 to 17 in Kananaskis, Canada. The confirmation came after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney personally extended the invitation via a phone call.
Modi has attended the G7 Summit as a guest since 2019. However, the delay in this year’s invitation had sparked criticism from opposition leaders, particularly from the Congress party, who termed it a “diplomatic lapse.”
