New Delhi/Hyderabad: During the 117th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the contributions of legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) to Indian cinema. Praising ANR’s role in elevating Indian cinema, the Prime Minister’s remarks drew a heartfelt response from actor Nagarjuna, ANR’s son.
Taking to social media platform X, Nagarjuna expressed his gratitude, stating, “Heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Modi for honoring my father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, among iconic legends during his centenary year. His vision and service to Indian cinema continue to inspire generations.”
