Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the NDA alliance for breaking all records in Maharashtra, asserting that the success achieved by the “Mahayuti” (grand alliance) in the past 50 years was unmatched. He noted that Maharashtra had become the sixth state to consecutively hand power to the BJP for three terms, marking a significant milestone for the party. Modi also highlighted the slogan “Ek Hai To Safe Hai” (Unity is Safety) as a national mantra now resonating across the country.

In a strong rebuke of the Congress party, Modi accused it of fostering communalism in a bid for power and criticized it for its alleged role in promoting urban Naxalism. He claimed that Congress had tried to create instability in Maharashtra, but the voters had punished them at the ballot box. Modi remarked that voters prefer leaders who prioritize national interests over personal power.

The Prime Minister further criticized the INDIA alliance for failing to understand the true aspirations of the people of Maharashtra and the country. He referred to Congress as a “parasite” that has never been able to form a government.
