Former Minister Perni Nani has leveled a series of sensational allegations, claiming that his phone is being tapped and that authorities are collecting the phone numbers of his party workers. Naani, a key YCP leader, dismissed any personal concern over phone tapping but criticized TDP leaders for allegedly engaging in similar practices. He also questioned the need for police to obtain the phone numbers of village leaders’ wives.

During a meeting with Vamsi, currently held in Vijayawada jail, Nani alleged that police officers involved in Vamsi’s case are acting with malicious intent under the supervision of senior officials, ostensibly to please political leaders. Nani further claimed that on the 10th, Satya Vardhan appeared in court and submitted an affidavit stating that the case against him was baseless. He accused TDP worker Phani Kumar of orchestrating false cases against Satya Vardhan and Vamsi, and alleged that additional complaints have been lodged by an individual named Kiran, resulting in non-bailable charges against Vamsi based on unfounded allegations.

Nani also questioned the police’s procedures, noting that Vamsi was remanded before a court not designated for SC/ST cases, and criticized the authorities for registering cases on minimal evidence. He alleged that, despite not participating in events such as the Guntur Mirchi Yard Jagan tour, a case was registered against him, and that another case was filed for his alleged travel from Machilipatnam to Guntur. He accused the police of casually registering cases based on trivial matters.

In addition, Nani claimed that in Vijayawada, an unauthorized individual named Prakash—alleged to be a relative of Chandrababu—has been recruiting staff and making calls to intimidate YCP leaders. He also accused an office near Vijayawada Ramesh Hospital of engaging in unauthorized phone tapping, stating that similar activities are taking place in the concern of SP  of Krishna district.

In a forceful statement, Nani vowed that regardless of the number of false actions perpetrated by these individuals, they will all be held accountable under the law. He sharply criticized Minister Kolla Ravindra, asserting that Ravindra is unfit to serve the public and improve local governance, and accused him of pocketing funds from allocated resources. Nani further threatened that he would push for the arrest of both Kodali Nani and himself, adding that he has been actively mobilizing on the roads of Machilipatnam for the past six months and will not be deterred by any arrests.
