Reports of adulteration in Tirumala laddus have sparked nationwide controversy, prompting Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to undertake a vow of penance. He is scheduled to conclude this penance in Tirumala on October 3.
Pawan Kalyan will arrive at Renigunta Airport on October 2 at 4 PM, proceed to Alipiri by road, and begin his journey to Tirumala via the footpath route, arriving around 9 PM. On October 3, after offering prayers at the temple, he will officially end his penance.
Later that evening, the Deputy Chief Minister will attend the Varahi Sabha in Tirupati, where he is expected to address criticisms and concerns regarding the alleged laddu adulteration scandal.
