Jana Sena has secured victory in all the seats it contested in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. Jana Sena chief and AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan participated in the distribution of pensions in the Pithapuram constituency for the first time. During the event, Pawan Kalyan highlighted the significant debt within the Panchayat Raj Department, amounting to thousands of crores of rupees. He mentioned his decision not to take a salary as an MLA due to the department’s financial difficulties.
Addressing concerns about the camp office, he stated that he would personally handle any necessary repairs or new furniture purchases. Despite the absence of volunteers, pensions have not been interrupted. Secretariat employees are delivering double pension amounts directly to beneficiaries’ homes, ensuring 100% distribution by tomorrow morning.
Pawan Kalyan also discussed plans to provide alternative employment opportunities for volunteers, demonstrating the government’s commitment to addressing pensioners’ issues and improving the system.
