Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, during the party’s 12th-anniversary celebrations, expressed his support for the Central government’s three-language policy. Addressing the ongoing anti-Hindi stance in Tamil Nadu, he stated that a multi-language approach is essential for national unity and criticized Tamil Nadu’s “No Hindi” movement as unfair.
Pawan Kalyan questioned the logic behind Tamil films being dubbed in Hindi while opposing the language. He also criticized Tamil Nadu’s demand to alter the rupee symbol into Tamil script, asking if other states should follow the same approach.
"మీ హిందీ భాషను మా మీద రుద్దకండి", అని చెప్పడం ఇంకో భాషను ద్వేషించడం కాదు, “ స్వాభిమానంతో మా మాతృభాషను, మా తల్లిని కాపాడుకోవడం", అని పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారికి ఎవరైనా చెప్పండి please… 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 #justasking

Responding to Pawan Kalyan’s remarks, senior actor Prakash Raj took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and countered, saying, “Saying ‘Don’t impose your Hindi on us’ is not about hating another language but about protecting our mother tongue and culture. Someone, please explain this to Pawan Kalyan. Just asking.”

This isn’t the first time Prakash Raj has targeted Pawan Kalyan. Previously, he criticized him over issues like Tirupati laddu and Sanatana Dharma.
Pawan Kalyan’s support for the three-language policy comes at a time when Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK party is strongly opposing the Centre’s move.
