OYO, a leading player in hotel bookings and travel technology, has officially changed the name of its parent company from Oravel Stays to Prism. The decision, announced as the company prepares for its Initial Public Offering (IPO), was made under the leadership of Founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal.
The company explained that the rebranding is aimed at bringing its diverse businesses—such as premium hospitality, vacation homes, and wedding venues—under one unified identity. While Prism will serve as the overarching corporate name, the OYO brand will continue to remain the flagship identity in the budget and mid-scale travel segment, catering to millions of customers worldwide.
