Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025, receiving a prize money of Rs 8.5 crore. The final round featured contestants from Martinique, Poland, Thailand, and Ethiopia as the top four finalists. After responding to a series of questions, Opal was declared the winner for delivering the highest-scoring answer.
Cristina Piszczkowa, Miss World 2024, officially crowned Opal Suchat as the 72nd Miss World. The runners-up included Miss Ethiopia as the first runner-up, Miss Poland as the second runner-up, and Miss Martinique as the third runner-up.
The competition saw participation from 108 contestants representing countries worldwide. India’s contestant, Nandini Gupta, did not advance to the top eight.
Notably, Indian actor Sonu Sood received the Miss World Humanitarian Award during the event.
