New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has achieved a decisive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the celebrations held at the BJP’s central office in Delhi, where he delivered a speech highlighting the significance of the win.
Prime Minister Modi began by thanking the people of Bihar for their overwhelming support, stating, “The people of Bihar have voted for a developed state. The NDA has secured a historic victory, and the people have broken all records by participating in the elections in unprecedented numbers. With this victory, the era of Jungle Raj will never return to Bihar.”
He further added that the people had rejected the opposition’s false narratives and embraced the message of development. “The opposition failed to sway the public with their lies. Bihar’s youth and women have stood firm for progress, and Nitish Kumar’s leadership has been key in providing good governance to the state.”

The Prime Minister also pointed out the smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections, noting that for the first time in many years, no re-polling was required due to election-related violence. “This victory has strengthened the people’s trust in the Election Commission, and for the first time, Bihar’s young voters took their responsibility seriously, participating in record numbers without any disruptions,” Modi said.
Modi took a swipe at the opposition, particularly Congress, stating, “In the past, questions were raised about Bihar’s development, such as industries and airports. The result of this election provides a strong rebuttal to those who doubted the state’s progress. Congress, which is now reduced to relying on votes from other parties, is headed towards inevitable division. Today, Congress has effectively become the ‘MMC’—Muslim Maoist Congress,” he added.
The NDA’s victory in Bihar marks a significant shift in the state’s political landscape, with the people’s mandate reinforcing the importance of governance based on development and peace.
