Hyderabad: MLC Kavitha was released from Tihar Jail today following the Supreme Court’s decision to grant her bail in the Delhi liquor scam case. Kavitha, who had been in custody for 166 days, was welcomed by her brother K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), Harish Rao, and other key BRS leaders who gathered at the jail.
Kavitha will remain in Delhi tonight and is expected to address the press tomorrow morning. She is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad tomorrow evening, after which she is likely to head directly to the Erravalli farmhouse to meet her father, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, according to BRS sources.
