A direct conflict is ongoing between Israel and Iran in the Middle East, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claiming responsibility for large-scale missile strikes targeting Israeli leadership. According to Tehran, the attacks were carried out in retaliation for the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and specifically targeted the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The IRGC stated that ‘Khaibar’ ballistic missiles were launched at Netanyahu’s office in Tel Aviv and the main offices of the Israeli Air Force. Iranian media reported that the strikes were executed with high precision, successfully breaching Israel’s defense systems. However, the Israeli government has not provided official confirmation of the extent of damage, and it remains unclear whether the Prime Minister was present at the time of the attack.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that sirens were sounded across the Tel Aviv area and that several incoming missiles were intercepted. Beyond Israel, Iran also targeted U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, signaling a wider regional escalation.

The conflict intensified further as Iran-backed Hezbollah launched missiles from Lebanon toward Israel. The ongoing missile exchanges have expanded hostilities across multiple fronts, raising international concerns over stability in the region and the potential for a broader Middle East confrontation.
