A technical glitch in Microsoft Windows on Friday led to significant disruptions across various global services. In response, Microsoft has taken corrective measures to address the issue. The problematic CrowdStrike update, which triggered the Blue Screen of Death error, has been withdrawn. The company announced that it has developed a debug solution and resolved the issue.
However, problems persist with Microsoft’s 365 apps and services. CrowdStrike CEO, Kurtz, responded to the situation, stating that the company is actively engaging with affected customers to address issues stemming from a bug in a recent content update. He clarified that Mac and Linux systems were unaffected by the disruption and assured that this was neither a security breach nor a case of cyber fraud. “We identified the issue and have implemented a fix. Ensuring the safety of our customers is our top priority,” Kurtz stated in a tweet.
