In a significant development in the Liquor Scam case, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been granted bail by the Supreme Court. The court’s decision follows Sisodia’s plea for bail. Sisodia, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on February 26, 2023, has been detained for nearly 17 months.
The Supreme Court’s verdict allows Manish Sisodia conditional bail, with the stipulation that he must not leave the country. Additionally, Sisodia has been ordered to surrender his passport.
