The ongoing rift within the Manchu family reached a boiling point as actor Mohan Babu’s son, Manchu Manoj, filed a police complaint alleging physical assault. The incident at Mohan Babu’s residence in Jalpalli, Hyderabad, has triggered widespread attention, with tensions spilling over into public view.
Manoj arrived at the residence accompanied by his wife, Mounika, reportedly to meet his daughter. Security personnel denied him entry, leading to a heated exchange. In a dramatic turn, Manoj and his associates forcibly opened the gates and entered the premises, sparking further commotion. Police intervened, removing Manoj’s bouncers from the property.
Manoj later emerged from the residence with a torn shirt, alleging that he was attacked during the altercation. Amidst the uproar, Mohan Babu reportedly clashed with journalists covering the incident, seizing their equipment and damaging microphones

Police Action and Investigation
In light of the incident, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police issued a notice to Mohan Babu, summoning him for questioning tomorrow at 10:30 AM. The Commissioner is set to conduct a detailed inquiry into the events at Jalpalli.
As a precautionary measure, police have confiscated licensed firearms belonging to Mohan Babu and his son, Vishnu. These weapons, authorized under Jubilee Hills Police Station jurisdiction, were seized following Manoj’s allegations of life threats from his father and brother.
The family dispute has not only captured public attention but also prompted swift police action, with further developments anticipated in the coming days.
