BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has demanded an apology from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, BJP central ministers, and MPs from Congress and BJP for failing to secure any significant benefits for the state. KTR stated that national parties have repeatedly failed to safeguard Telangana’s interests, with the Union Budget 2025 serving as further evidence of their inability to address the state’s needs.
In a statement, KTR criticized the lack of funding for Telangana, highlighting that despite sending eight MPs each from Congress and BJP to Parliament, they collectively failed to bring any meaningful provisions for the state in the central budget. He described the outcome as a complete failure, emphasizing that the alliance between BJP and Congress has offered no tangible benefits for Telangana.

KTR also pointed out the disparity between MPs from Telangana and those from other states, particularly BJP MPs who have not been able to secure adequate funds for Telangana while MPs from other regions have successfully brought substantial resources to their respective states. He urged the BJP and Congress MPs to apologize for their failure to represent the state’s interests.
Furthermore, KTR emphasized that the public is becoming increasingly aware of the damage caused by the lack of proper representation in Parliament. He cited the success of regional parties in states like Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, where local interests have been better represented, and contrasted it with Telangana’s continued neglect under national party leadership.

KTR also condemned the central government’s disregard for Telangana, asserting that the Union Budget confirmed the government’s indifference toward the state. He criticized the prioritization of BJP-led states and the injustice faced by others, particularly Southern states, which contribute significantly to the national economy but receive little in return from the central government.
