IAS Krishna Teja, a distinguished officer of the Kerala cadre, has been making headlines since the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh came into power. Recently, he held a special meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at the AP Secretariat. Following this, Krishna Teja was serving as the Collector of Thrissur in Kerala.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan requested Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to bring Krishna Teja back to Andhra Pradesh, a request that was promptly approved. Official orders have now been issued, appointing Krishna Teja as the new DOPT (Department of Personnel and Training) officer.
Krishna Teja is expected to soon return to Andhra Pradesh and assume his new role. His impressive resume includes positions such as MD of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, Director of the Tourism Department, Director of the SC Development Department, and District Collector of Alappuzha. Notably, he was recently recognized by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights for his exemplary work as Thrissur District Collector, making the district a leader in child rights protection.
Hailing from Chilakaluripeta in Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh, Krishna Teja, a 2015 batch IAS officer, has built a reputation for sincerity and efficiency throughout his career.
