Hyderabad: Suspended BRS leader Kavitha has suffered another setback with Telangana Jagruthi witnessing internal divisions. Senior leader Mede Rajeev Sagar launched a direct attack on her, accusing Kavitha of using the organization for personal gains and later abandoning its members.
Speaking at Somajiguda Press Club, Rajeev Sagar said Telangana Jagruthi was always meant to serve BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao. He alleged that once Kavitha turned against KCR, several leaders distanced themselves from the outfit. “From the day she opposed KCR, we kept away from Jagruthi,” he said.

Rajeev Sagar questioned Kavitha’s claims on social justice, pointing out that despite serving two terms each as MP and MLC, she failed to deliver justice to those who stood behind her. He accused her of pursuing decisions driven only by personal interests.
Highlighting the widening rift, he said Jagruthi leaders would continue to work for KCR and abide by his directions. Analysts believe the growing internal discord could have a significant impact on Telangana’s political landscape.
