Gudivada: A clash between Jana Sena Party (JSP) supporters and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders intensified today, as Jana Sena activists demanded an apology from YSRCP leader Perni Nani for his recent derogatory remarks about JSP leader Pawan Kalyan. The situation turned violent when Jana Sena supporters attacked Perni Nani’s vehicle with stones and eggs.
The incident occurred when Perni Nani visited the residence of YSRCP leader Thota Sivaji in Gudivada. As Nani arrived, a group of Jana Sena activists rushed towards his car, pelting it with stones, resulting in broken window panes. Following the attack, the activists staged a protest in front of Sivaji’s house, insisting on a public apology from Nani. Police were dispatched to the scene and are working to de-escalate the situation. Jana Sena supporters have vowed to continue their protests until Perni Nani apologizes.
The conflict arose after Perni Nani made controversial remarks about Pawan Kalyan, stating that the JSP leader’s situation had worsened to the point where he had to speak about himself. Nani further compared Pawan Kalyan to the mythological figures Salya and Shikhandi, rather than Vamana, suggesting that Pawan is weakening his own party and leading its members to defeat.
