Srinagar/New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the dismissal of three government employees—Malik Ishfaq Naseer (Constable), Ajaz Ahmad (Teacher), and Vaseed Ahmad Khan (Medical College Junior Assistant)—for allegedly passing sensitive security information to terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). The trio was arrested by security forces and remain in custody.
Separately, Punjab police apprehended Gagandeep Singh from Tarn Taran district, who is accused of spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that Singh supplied sensitive details regarding army deployments and strategic locations to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
These actions follow the recent arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, charged with sharing confidential Indian information with Pakistan, underscoring heightened vigilance against espionage threats.
