Senior Telangana Congress leader Jagga Reddy has announced that his upcoming film will be based on his own life experiences. He revealed that the movie will depict his political journey and the challenges he faced, stating, “This film will showcase my role in politics and my successful journey. I am handling the story, screenplay, and direction myself.”
The first-look poster of Jagga Reddy – A War of Love received a strong response upon its release. On the occasion of Ugadi, Jagga Reddy inaugurated the film’s office at Nandi Nagar and unveiled the teaser.

Speaking about the teaser, he remarked, “This is my original character. In films, heroes act as if they are fighting the police, but I have done it in real life. As a student leader, councilor, and municipal chairman, I have faced numerous hardships, which will be portrayed in the film. My political journey will now be presented on screen.”
The 50-second teaser features a striking dialogue that has resonated with viewers: “A rock does not turn into a sculpture just by taking hits. Jagga Reddy transforms every blow into a weapon… Sangareddy’s Jagga Reddy!” The teaser has garnered significant attention on social media, with users praising its intensity and Jagga Reddy’s dialogue delivery.
The film is being produced by Jagga Reddy’s daughter, Jayalakshmi Reddy, while Ramanujam serves as the writer and director. Commenting on the project, Jayalakshmi Reddy stated, “My father has endured immense struggles to reach this stage. His life is truly an inspiration.”
With production and post-production work underway, the team is preparing for the film’s release. Jagga Reddy confirmed, “I am portraying my real-life character, and further details will be announced soon.”
