In light of the ongoing political turmoil surrounding the Tirupati laddu controversy, YSRCP leader Jagan has made a pivotal statement. He accused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of spreading false propaganda regarding alleged laddu fraud, asserting that such claims tarnish the sanctity of the Tirumala laddu and Lord Venkateswara.
To address the situation, Jagan urged YSRCP supporters to participate in prayers at temples across Andhra Pradesh on September 28, in a bid to cleanse the damage caused by Naidu’s allegations.
The laddu controversy has ignited significant political discourse in the state, with the coalition government attributing responsibility for the alleged fraud to previous YSRCP administration. Additionally, purification rituals at the temples were conducted as part of their response.
In a move to investigate the matter, the Chandrababu government established a Special Investigation Team (SIT). However, YSRCP officials have condemned this action as a conspiracy orchestrated by Chandrababu, claiming he is disseminating falsehoods for political advantage. The issue has also prompted extensive discussion on social media platforms, reflecting the heightened tensions surrounding the situation.
