Authorities have announced major reforms for EAPCET 2026, the entrance examination for admissions into Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture courses, enabling candidates to view their marks immediately on the computer screen after completing the test instead of waiting for the official results. Students will also be able to assess their probable rank based on data from the previous two years, which will be made available on the official website.
Significant changes have also been introduced in the application process. TG EAPCET 2026 Convenor Vijay Kumar Reddy stated that mobile adaptive technology is being implemented this year, allowing students to apply directly through smartphones or tablets. The move is expected to particularly benefit candidates from remote areas who may not have easy access to computers.
A new verification mechanism has also been put in place to minimize errors during the application process. Based on data obtained from the Intermediate Board, applicants will receive a call from EAPCET authorities if they mistakenly select MPC instead of BiPC or vice versa, ensuring corrections before final submission and reducing the chances of procedural mistakes.
The application process for EAPCET 2026 will commence on Thursday. Candidates who fail to apply within the regular schedule can still submit applications up to two days before the examination by paying a ₹10,000 late fee. Following SC sub-categorization, reservations under SC-1, SC-2 and SC-3 categories will be implemented. The Agriculture and Pharmacy examinations are scheduled for May 4 and 5, while the Engineering exams will be held on May 9, 10 and 11.
