IndiGo Airlines has announced that its flight operations are steadily returning to normal after several days of widespread disruptions. While some flights were cancelled on Tuesday, the airline said the situation is stabilising and corrective measures are underway.
In a statement posted on X, CEO Pieter Elbers expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to passengers. “Our operations are now stabilising, and we regret the disappointment caused due to operational challenges. Millions of customers have already received refunds, and the process continues,” he said.

Elbers added that luggage belonging to passengers stranded at airports has been delivered to their homes and that all steps are being taken in accordance with passenger needs. Services to over 100 destinations resumed from Monday onwards, and the airline continues to work closely with government authorities. He further noted that the airline is focusing on identifying the root causes behind the operational disruptions to prevent future occurrences.
