The INDIA alliance has emerged victorious in the Jharkhand elections, securing 56 seats across the state. The coalition’s tally includes 34 seats for JMM, 16 for Congress, 2 for CPI-M, and 4 for RJD. In contrast, the BJP-led alliance won 24 seats, with BJP securing 21, AJSU Party 1, LJP (Ram Vilas) 1, and JD(U) 1.

Despite extensive campaigning by prominent BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BJP suffered a significant setback in Jharkhand. The BJP held nearly 200 rallies, with Amit Shah and Modi participating in several high-profile events, but the NDA was unable to secure victory. The defeat of key local leaders was a crucial factor in the BJP’s poor performance in the state.
