Hyderabad: A 9th-grade student from Narayana School died by suicide on Friday night, leaving residents of KPHB Colony in shock.
According to the reports, the victim, identified as Lasya Priya, had recently attended a parent-teacher meeting where teachers reportedly informed her parents about her lack of focus on studies. Following a reprimand at home, the student appeared distressed.
According to police, around 9 p.m., she entered the bathroom of her 17th-floor residence, removed the window panes, and jumped. The impact caused fatal injuries, resulting in her immediate death. Locals and family members were left devastated by the incident, and police have launched an investigation.
