Gretna, Pennsylvania: Unknown gunmen opened fire in an area hosting several US security and emergency agencies, including the Gretna, Campbell, and Amherst County Sheriff’s offices, Danville Police Department, Virginia State Troopers, Gretna Fire and Rescue, Hurt Fire Department, US Marshals, and Centra Medical Helicopter services. The attackers’ identities remain unknown, and the motive for the shooting is yet to be determined.
Four officers sustained serious injuries in the incident, though authorities have confirmed that there were no fatalities. Law enforcement agencies on the scene are investigating the case and have assured the public that security measures have been heightened to prevent further incidents.
