Gunfire once again created panic in the United States after a shooting incident in New York City’s Brooklyn area on Sunday left three people dead and eight others critically injured. The attack took place inside a restaurant, sparking fear and chaos among locals.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the “Taste of City Lounge” on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights. As the restaurant was closing, armed assailants stormed in and opened indiscriminate fire. Terrified patrons ran for their lives as gunshots rang out. The NYPD rushed to the scene soon after being alerted, and the injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals.

Police confirmed that among the deceased were two men aged 27 and 35, while the identity of the third victim has not yet been established. The injured included eight men and three women, ranging in age from 27 to 61.
Investigators recovered over 36 bullet casings from the site, indicating the use of multiple firearms. Authorities suspect that more than one gunman may have been involved in the attack. However, no arrests have been made so far, and a manhunt is underway to track down the suspects.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage and fear among New Yorkers, with many once again demanding stricter measures to curb America’s persistent gun violence problem.
