The Supreme Court bench remarked that god should be kept away from politics. It also posed a series of questions to Chief Minister Chandrababu, asking when the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted to probe the allegations regarding the sacred offering (prasadam). The court questioned how statements were made in the media without any prior investigation. In response, the government lawyer clarified that an SIT had been recently formed to investigate the laddu controversy and that they also had a lab report. However, the court further asked whether it had been confirmed that adulteration had occurred in the laddu.

Upon reviewing the reports, the bench observed that no adulterated substances were used in the preparation of the prasadam. It was noted that TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) denied using adulterated ghee. The court suggested obtaining a second opinion if there were any doubts and indicated that it believed no adulteration had taken place. It emphasized that it was up to the TTD to confirm whether adulteration had occurred. The court also pointed out that the Chief Minister had made statements about adulteration before the SIT was formed or any investigation had taken place, and mentioned that there was no basis for the CM’s statement made on September 18.
