Hyderabad: In Gachibowli, police have registered a case against Raghav Constructions and associates following allegations that company personnel demolished cattle sheds on a plot in Vattinagulapalli on November 30. The complaint, filed by Pallavisha, daughter of landowner Satishsha, claims that the intruders openly identified themselves as representatives of Raghav Constructions and attempted to seize the land. Police intervened as the demolition and assault by the bouncers were reportedly ongoing. Cases were filed under sections 329(3), 118(1), 324(4), 304(2), 127(2), 351(2) r/w 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code.
Pallavisha alleged that her family has been cultivating the ancestral land for years, but certain individuals, with the support of political figures, tried to occupy it illegally. She also claimed that part of the dispute involved misrepresentation of survey numbers to justify encroachment and that intra-family conflicts had escalated the situation.
The disputed plot, Survey No. 245/19 in Vattinagulapalli village, Gandeepet mandal, covers three acres adjoining Gandeepet Lake’s Lakeview Point. According to the complaint, intruders first damaged the boundary wall on October 25, and on November 30, around 70 bouncers equipped with trucks and unregistered bulldozers returned to destroy the cattle sheds and boundary wall.
During the incident, the bouncers allegedly assaulted anyone who intervened, destroyed security tents, fans, and other property, and seized the staff’s cell phones. Pallavisha highlighted the extent of the destruction and the threats faced by those defending the land.
Authorities are investigating the matter to hold the responsible parties accountable, amid growing concerns over the misuse of political influence in land disputes and encroachment attempts in the region.
