Bengaluru: Former Andhra Pradesh Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy was arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police in Bengaluru on Saturday in connection with the Rusthum illegal mining case. He has been named as Accused No. 4 (A4) in the case.
Police sources confirmed that Reddy had been absconding for the past two months and had failed to respond to repeated summons for questioning. Acting on credible information, a police team located and apprehended him in Bengaluru.
Further legal proceedings and investigation into his alleged involvement in the case are currently underway.
