Denver: A major aviation mishap was narrowly averted at Denver Airport when a Boeing 737 aircraft bound for Miami caught fire during takeoff. The incident occurred as the plane was departing from Colorado, with flames suddenly erupting from one of its tires. Pilots acted swiftly, halting the takeoff and bringing the aircraft to an emergency stop. Thick smoke engulfed the aircraft, causing panic among passengers. The cabin crew promptly initiated an emergency evacuation, safely guiding all passengers out through emergency exits. Videos of the smoke-filled aircraft and passengers evacuating have since gone viral on social media.
The incident adds to growing global concerns over frequent aviation-related issues. In recent weeks, Air India and other airlines have reported multiple technical glitches, resulting in emergency landings and flight diversions. Earlier, an Air India aircraft incident in Ahmedabad sparked nationwide concern. Meanwhile, a tragic crash in Russia claimed the lives of 49 passengers, including six crew members and five children. The aircraft, en route from Russia to China, crashed into a forest near its destination and was later found engulfed in flames after initially being reported missing.
