Bengaluru police have filed an FIR against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), event management firm DNA Entertainment Networks, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Administrative Committee members, and others following a violent brawl that erupted at a cricket stadium on Wednesday. The FIR, registered at Kabban Park Police Station, cites criminal negligence in connection with the incident, sources said.
The case has been registered under Sections 105, 125(12), 142, 121, and 190 of the Indian Penal Code.

Karnataka High Court Takes Suo Moto Cognizance, Orders State Government Report
In response to the incident, the Karnataka High Court has taken suo moto notice and directed the state government to submit a detailed status report on the brawl that occurred outside the stadium. The court issued a notice to the government and mandated the submission of the report by June 10.
The division bench, comprising Acting Chief Justice V. Kameshwar Rao and Justice C.M. Joshi, instructed the court registry to treat the case as a public interest litigation, emphasizing the need for accountability and prompt action.
