Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan made bold statements during the party’s 12th-anniversary celebrations. Reflecting on his political journey, Pawan asserted that he established the party single-handedly in 2014 and declared that courage is his shield, as he is unfamiliar with fear.
Addressing the 2019 election defeat, Pawan remarked, “Despite facing defeat, we took a step forward. We stood by the four-decade-old TDP. When we lost, they mocked us and insulted our women. Cases were filed against women who questioned injustice, and even a leader with four decades of experience was jailed. They conspired to suppress me and challenged me from entering the Assembly. However, with 21 MLAs in the Assembly and two MPs in Parliament, we achieved a 100% strike rate, making the nation turn its attention towards us.”
Pawan also referred to late revolutionary singer Gaddar as a brother and paid tribute to the 463 Jana Sainiks who sacrificed their lives for the party’s ideology. He clarified that his political journey was not for personal growth or cinematic fame but for the betterment of society and the nation.
