Secret documents linked to American multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein have triggered political shockwaves across the world, with revelations extending far beyond the United States into several major European nations. The disclosures have reportedly forced ministers, diplomats, and senior officials in more than ten countries to step down, marking one of the most far-reaching international political scandals in recent years.
The United Kingdom has emerged as the country most affected by the fallout, placing Prime Minister Keir Starmer under intense political pressure. Documents revealed alleged links between Epstein and Peter Mandelson, a former British ambassador to the United States, including claims that sensitive government secrets and diplomatic communications were shared with Epstein. Starmer has faced sharp criticism for appointing a controversial figure to a key role, a controversy that has already led to the resignation of his Chief of Staff, Morgan McSweeney.
The scandal has also revived scrutiny of Prince Andrew of the British royal family.
