The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections under the MLA quota in Andhra Pradesh. With the tenure of five MLCs set to conclude by March 29, elections will be conducted to fill these vacancies. The official notification will be issued on March 3, and polling is scheduled for March 20. The results will be declared on the same day.

Based on the current strength in the Assembly, the ruling alliance is expected to secure all five seats. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has confirmed that Jana Sena leader Naga Babu will be allocated an MLC seat, with a possibility of being inducted into the Cabinet. One MLC seat is likely to be given to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while the competition for the remaining three seats remains intense.
The tenure of current MLCs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Paruchuri Ashok Babu, Tirumala Naidu, Janga Krishnamurthy, and Rama Raovulu will conclude on March 29, 2025.
