The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued notices to former Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), senior IAS officer Aravind Kumar, and former HMDA Chief Engineer B.L.N. Reddy in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Formula E car racing case. The ED has summoned them for questioning on January 2 and 3.

This investigation follows an FIR filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) related to the case. The ED has registered cases against KTR under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and for money laundering. The agency is investigating allegations of financial irregularities, including the transfer of Rs. 55 crore to FEO.
As the investigation progresses, speculation is growing within the BRS ranks regarding the possibility of the ED arresting KTR following the questioning.
