This case had earlier led to the arrest of current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu during the Jagan government. Naidu spent 152 days in Rajahmundry Jail before being released on bail.
YSRCP’s Reaction
YSRCP spokesperson Putta Shankar Reddy responded, stating that corruption occurred in the Siemens project under the Skill Development initiative, as confirmed by the ED, which led to the attachment of assets worth Rs 23 crore. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of being the main culprit in the case, claiming that Naidu’s criticisms of Jagan are an attempt to divert attention from the issue.
