Dubai: Amid rising Iran-Israel tensions, panic erupted at Dubai International Airport following false reports of a missile attack. Social media circulated claims that Iran had fired missiles at the airport, causing explosions and fires. Passengers reportedly abandoned luggage in fear, and the airport was temporarily filled with smoke, creating confusion and alarm.
Airport authorities and aerial defense forces later clarified that no missile attack occurred. Suspicious objects detected near the airport were intercepted and neutralized mid-air, and officials confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported. Flights have been temporarily suspended as a precaution, while security measures remain in place to ensure passenger safety.
