The 7.7-magnitude earthquake, which struck on Friday, caused severe tremors across Myanmar and Thailand, leading to infrastructure damage and disruptions. Roads have been affected, and several buildings have either collapsed or sustained structural damage.

In response, the Indian Embassy in Thailand has issued a helpline number for Indian nationals in the region. While no distress reports from Indian citizens have been received, the embassy has urged those in need of assistance to contact +66 618819218 for emergencies. Rescue and relief efforts continue as authorities assess the full extent of the devastation.
