In the ongoing Delhi liquor scam case, Manish Sisodia has encountered another setback as his judicial custody has been extended. The Rouse Avenue Court has ruled to extend his custody until July 15, with the next hearing also scheduled for that date.
Sisodia was apprehended by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26 of last year and has been held in Tihar Jail since his arrest. Subsequently, he resigned from his position as Deputy Chief Minister. Sisodia has now been incarcerated for over 16 months.
