Actress Deepika Padukone has been named among the world’s most influential women by internationally renowned publication The Shift. The list, which recognises individuals for their leadership, creativity, and activism, includes global icons such as filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, and singer Selena Gomez.
This recognition follows Deepika’s earlier selection for the 2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame, making her the first Indian actress to receive the honour. With this, she continues to expand her global influence both within and beyond the entertainment industry.
Deepika Padukone, who began her acting career nearly two decades ago, has made a mark not only in Bollywood but also on international platforms including Hollywood and the Cannes Film Festival. In 2018, she was included in Time magazine’s list of the ‘100 Most Influential People’. In 2022, she gained worldwide attention by unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy in Qatar.
Following the recent birth of her first child, Padukone is set to return to the big screen in director Atlee’s upcoming project opposite actor Allu Arjun.
