Dharamashala: The office of the Dalai Lama has strongly denied reports suggesting any connection between the Tibetan spiritual leader and American financier Jeffrey Epstein, amid widespread attention following the release of the Epstein Files. The office clarified that the Dalai Lama has never met Epstein and never authorized anyone to meet him on his behalf.
In an official statement, the Dalai Lama’s office described the claims circulating on social media as false and baseless, stating that they were aimed at damaging his reputation. It urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and emphasized that there is no truth to allegations linking the spiritual leader to Epstein.
The clarification comes as the Epstein Files released in the United States continue to spark global controversy, with names of prominent business leaders and political figures emerging from the documents. Photographs and videos connected to Epstein have been surfacing online, intensifying scrutiny and speculation worldwide.
According to reports, the US Department of Justice has released nearly three million files related to Epstein, including over 2,000 videos and approximately 180,000 photographs. The documents reportedly reference high-profile individuals such as US President Donald Trump, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and former President Bill Clinton. Images and videos linked to the case are widely circulating on social media.
